It’s Rob’s birthday, so the boys do what Rob loves the most, a bit of time traveling back to the 60’s to see how it all started with a man, a dream, and a full set of hair. We are talking about the next installment in our X-treme Summer Series with 2011’s X-Men: First Class.

Rob and Jason keep the X-Treme summer series going with the third installment of X-Men. Full of shirtless Hugh Jackman, angry telepaths, and an unnecessary boss fight. It’s 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand.

Rob and Jason continue their X-Treme summer series with the second and stronger installment of our favorite Canadian mutant. It’s 2003’s X2: X-Men United.

The boys start their traditional summer series, but kick it up a notch and make it X-treme. It’s 2000’s X-Men.

Rob and Jason talk about the latest MCU project that looks to have changed the course and righted the sinking ship from the previous years. Time will tell if this was a fluke or a taste of projects to come. It’s 2025’s Thunderbolts*.

Rob and Jason finally finish off Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy. They talk about all the important things… Anne Hathaway. It’s 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises.

Rob and Jason jump directly into the Fantastic Four sequel. They basically wish they didn’t, but alas, they watch crap so you don’t have to. It’s 2007’s Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Rob and Jason spend a bit of time with Marvel’s first family. They find this is their favorite version so far, but the bar isn’t that high to begin with. It’s 2005’s Fantastic Four.

Rob and Jason finish up Andrew Garfield’s rendition of Spider-Man. Both agree this isn’t the strongest version, but wasn’t terrible. It’s 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
